Project Description

Paradise Girls Group Home in San Ramon is a 6 beds home for female teenage foster children.  Our Rotary supports Paradise Home by providing each new resident with a welcome kit consisting of a new suitcase, a pillow, pillow case, a lockbox for personal items, a journal, and various personal hygiene or cosmetic products.  We also host a Thanksgiving dinner for the girls and staff each November along with organizing other activities throughout the year such as a yoga class, a BBQ, and vision boards.  The girls regularly rotate but we try to ensure they’re welcome and feel at home regardless of whether their stay is short or long.

Their mission is the following:

Paradise Adolescent Home mission is to help abused and neglected at-risk teenage girls recover and flourish in a home-like setting, where their value and self-esteem is realized and nourished.

Paradise Adolescent Home’s offers a structured program in conjunction with a range of therapeutic services that specializes in the treatment of at-risk teenage girls. They provide assistance to teens and their families in crisis. The help they offer is available around the clock, provided by skilled and dedicated staff, working to implement an individualized therapeutic treatment plan created for each resident by the clinical staff.
